Dear Eli,
Hi there. How are you? I hope
you are as fit as a fiddle with your beloved family in Kuala Lumpur. We are all
fine here, how are you getting along with your baby brother? I am sure you have
your hands full taking care of him for your mum. Don’t worry. With enough
practice, very soon you will be an expert in taking care of babies. Practice
makes perfect!
You must be wondering why I
wrote to you. It has been a long time since we last contacted each other. Actually,
I was just browsing through a magazine a few days ago when I spotted an
advertisement about a place to have a perfect holiday. It is a place to relax
and savour the beauty of the place. I have discussed with all my family members
and we unanimously agreed to go there this coming school holiday. We have also
decided to cordially invite you and your whole family to join us.
You have been working very hard
last year, studying for the PMR examination and then passed with flying
colours. It is time for you to unwind. Take a break and give yourself a treat. As
the saying goes, “All work and no play make Jack a dull boy.” I’m sure you are
not like Jack, right?
We will be camping at the
campsite by a beautiful lake up in Fraser hill. We will able to enjoy ourselves
in natural surroundings. Knowing you, I am sure you will have a ball being
close to nature. The place is not far away from my grandfather’s house. It will
take us about half an hour to reach there by car.
Do not worry about the
facilities. Everything is provided and I have checked with the management. All is
in tip-top condition as it is a newly opened campsite. There is a playground for
children, toilets and shower rooms. If we decided not to put up the night in
the chalets, we can sleep in the tents provided. It will be fun.
We intend to have a barbeque on
the first night. Everything will be taken care by the management. They will
have their workers cooking for us. We just need to enjoy ourselves without any
worries. We will be treated like kings! There will be games organized for us
too. All we need to do is choose which games we would like to play. Arrangements
will be made for us. Swimming and canoeing are among the activities we can have
there.
Well, I hope to receive a
positive reply from you soon. Tentatively, it will be on 15 Disember, 2012. If all
goes as planned we will be there for three days. I hope that this holiday will
go on without a hitch. Do not worry about the expenses. You do not need to fork
out any money for my father said that he will pay for everything. It is a treat
from him for he had just got his promotion to the post of a manager in his department.
Spending the money will be worth it for the holiday will give us all a chance
to spend time together and foster better relationship among our family members.
I will be waiting anxiously for
your reply. Remember to tell me how many of your family members will be able to
join us so that I can book enough accommodation for all of us. Before I
